Job Overview:

The Client Analytics team within LPL’s Client Success division is looking for a well-rounded Sr. Analyst- Advanced Analytics to help drive strategic business decisions through the production, analysis and reporting of key business drivers. The ideal candidate has sound judgement, the ability to recognize and communicate trends and insights, along with a strong understanding of data, data programming and automation concepts.

The Client Analytics group resides within Client Success and plays an instrumental role in the analysis and reporting of business performance and KPI results, and in collaboration with various business units helps to support data driven decision making. This team is integrally involved in performance and operations analysis, development of various business metrics, including supporting relationship management initiatives, and forward trend analysis. Additionally, the group is responsible for reporting on the holistic reporting of client success operations metrics for the customer success pod initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute reporting packages to senior management with a high degree of accuracy

  • Lead monthly process to calculate and report on conference/event data, analyze trends and patterns related to conference experiences to identify business opportunities and risks.

  • Identifying and implementing automated solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy of data processes through leveraging of analytical tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Python.

  • Leverage data to create insights and analyses to solve complex business problems for stakeholders across LPL, including but not limited to customer segmentation, data visualization (dashboards), and lead generation and prioritization

  • Develop, maintain, and manage reporting, analytics, dashboards and other Client Analytics data products.

  • Translate and visualize data into information and insights to discover trends and patterns for solving the business problem and improving KPIs.

  • Build Tableau Dashboards that allow stake holders to solve business challenges and take action on their data.

  • Build Alteryx workflows that transform incoming raw data into high-performing tailored data sets.

  • Lead and collaborate on exploratory data analytics involving large complex data sets to provide insights, recommendations and business impact.

  • Ad hoc analysis, modeling, and additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in an advanced analytical function is required

  • 1 + years experience advanced excel skills

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional problem solving skills that enable efficient identification of issues, development of hypotheses, and the execution of robust quantitative analyses to answer business questions.

  • Intellectually curious and have a background in data analyses.

Preferences:

  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis languages such as R or Python.

  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), distributed technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).

  • Demonstrated skill in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and/or machine learning.
