Materials Technician-Receiver

Monday - Friday - 2:00-10:30pm

Under the direct supervision of the Materials Analyst/Storeroom Manager and the Storeroom/Copy Center Supervisor and within established Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures, performs various clerical and materials handling duties of unloading, unpacking and inspection of all incoming materials, equipment, and supplies; completion of receiving reports; outgoing shipping, and maintaining shipping records. Performs other related or similar duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Previous 2 years of previous hospital or industrial receiving experience required
• Ability in business mathematics and record keeping; clerical accuracy; ability to organize sizable workload; knowledge to proper lifting and heavy handling techniques; bar cord scanning proficient

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Command of verbal and written English, computer literate, positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills. Forklift experience

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

License/Certification:

• OSHA certified for forklift

Salary Range:$17.62-$21.31
