Lovevery is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our Content team. This person will be responsible for managing the organization and efficiency of our Mobile App Content process to ensure all projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The Associate Project Manager’s duties include but aren’t limited to: ensuring all content projects are delivered on time; managing our project management platform; uploading content to various digital platforms; managing all creative asset deliverables; tracking and communicating content updates to various teams; and working cross functionally with multiple departments.

  • Organization and Attention to Detail - Monitoring and managing all moving parts requires impeccable organization and follow-up, so details don’t fall through the cracks. The Associate Project Manager must be an expert at pushing projects forward and prioritizing tasks to ensure all deadlines are met. The ability to keep your eye on the big picture while having a handle on every detail is critical.
  • Creative Problem-Solving - A positive, can-do approach to problem-solving is required for this role. The Associate Project Manager must be able to anticipate and identify root causes (early) of roadblocks and build strategies for overcoming them and shifting priorities before larger issues develop.
  • Work Ethic and Team Mentality - We’re looking for a highly motivated team player who is always willing to go the extra mile and takes pride in performing at their highest level. You must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and pivot responsibilities based on prioritization needs. You’ll be working in a cross-functional team where strong communication and collaboration will be key to success. Frequent check-ins and proactive communication on soft deadlines and escalating issues will be required to prevent bottlenecks.

Job Description:

  • Lead the workflow and project management of multiple content projects through the creative lifecycle: planning, concepting, execution, delivery, and retro.
  • Define project scopes, including prioritization and timelines. Set reasonable deadlines and follow up on progress to prevent downstream delays.
  • Manage all production and creative requests for assets such as photos, graphics, and videos.
  • Use project management platform [Asana] to organize and manage content for our mobile app.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, roadblocks, and capacity constraints. Evolve workflows as the team scales.
  • Work closely with Production, Creative, and Mobile Development teams to ensure all content projects are moving forward and completed on time.
  • Oversee / communicate project details, timelines, and status updates to Content Team stakeholders at recurring cadences to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time.
  • Use content tools [WordPress, Vimeo, HappyScribe] to finalize content deliverables.
  • Facilitate content team meetings (brainstorms, kickoffs, status, reviews), and communicate action steps to the broader team.
  • Look for opportunities to refine processes and increase efficiencies within projects.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in future projects. Champion the continuous improvement of processes, which may include new tools and techniques.

Qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2-5 years of experience in project management; ideally in content creation field
  • Project Management certification is a plus
  • Prior experience working with creative or content management is a plus
  • Attention to detail and highly organized are essential
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and adjust priorities based on the circumstances
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
