Job DetailsJob Location: Webster Groves High School - Webster Groves, MO 63119Position Type: Full TimePrimary Objective: To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities. 

Major Areas of Accountability:


Oversee student government, DECA, and all other club and activity groups
Oversee the following MSHSAA activities: Speech and Debate, Theater, Music, and Scholar bowl 
Maintain and oversee Fine Arts and activity sponsors’ salary schedules
Assist WGHS teachers in all Fine Arts Productions
Assist Fine Arts and activities/club sponsors with transportation needs and/or overnight events
Assist with the promotion and communication of Fine Art events and other school activities
Coordination and planning of special events throughout the school year, such as:

Back-to-school registration process 
School Dances and Pep Rallies 
Camp Wyman counselors 
Turkey Day Activities

Chilifest 
Community pep rally 


Special Olympics Event 
And other similar activities


Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and recommending qualified persons to fill openings for the extra-curricular/activities staff
Serve as the liaison to the school selected photography company and coordinate all school photos and extracurricular activities photo dates
Supervision of athletic and activity events throughout the year as assigned by the building principal
Manage student parking
Assist Athletic Director as needed
Teaching duties as assigned 
Performing other duties consistent with the position 


Qualifications: 


Minimum: Five (5) years of significant leadership experience in co-curricular activities 
Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience; head director, coaching or comparable leadership experience in co-curricular activities; Master's Degree in School Administration and Principal Certificate
