Assistant Manager, Fulfillment Operations - Day Shift

<p><strong>What The Role Is</strong></p> <p>Babylist is hiring an<strong> Assistant Manager of Fulfillment Operations </strong>for Day Shift at our fulfillment center in Commercial Point, Ohio, just south of Columbus. This is a hands-on, floor-first leadership role at the center of our day-shift operation, with direct ownership over a significant portion of the FC, including picking, packing, and kitting. You will report to and work closely with the Operations Manager, with supervisors reporting directly to you.</p> <p>Our fulfillment center is growing fast, and this role is part of how we invest in that growth. You will lead the floor across multiple workflows, coach and hold your supervisors accountable, and partner with our Senior Fulfillment Analyst to build labor plans that match inbound and outbound volume. This is a role for a leader who stays visible on the floor and is energized by engaging with supervisors and hourly team members every day, while driving safety, performance, and results across a shift of 190+ team members.</p> <p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Monday through Thursday, with core working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is an exempt position and requires availability before the start of the shift, as well as after the shift when needed, to support opening responsibilities, end-of-shift duties, and wrap-up activities.</p> <p><strong>About Pay</strong></p> <p>We pay competitive market rates.</p> <p>Starting salary for this position is <strong>$82,800 - $89,640 annually</strong></p> <p><strong>Holidays Observed</strong></p> <p>The Fulfillment Center is closed on the following days for day shift in 2026:</p> <ul> <li>New Year's Day</li> <li>Memorial Day</li> <li>Thanksgiving Day</li> </ul> <p>All shifts receive <strong>4 floating holidays </strong>in addition to the holidays observed, so you can celebrate what matters to you the most, whenever that may be.</p> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experienced Fulfillment Leader Who Has Led Other Leaders:</strong> You bring 8+ years of management experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, including at least 3 years managing supervisors or other people-leaders.
