This is a full-time position located at 109 Capitol Street, Augusta under the supervision of Dwayne Bickford. This opportunity allows partial telework with management approval.
This is only open to those with promotional status in the Department of Health and Human Services.

Core Responsibilities:

This is a supervisory role within the DSER Compliance Team.  Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

•    directing and overseeing assigned program staff engaged in compliance and central office case initiation activities 
•    management of annual Self-Assessment, Data Reliability, IRS bi-annual Corrective Action Plan responses, and State of Maine audits   
•    coordination, development and monitoring program data exchange processes with the Federal Office of Child support Enforcement, Maine Office of Family Independence, Maine State Disbursement Unit, Maine Revenue Services, Maine Treasurer’s Office, Maine Unclaimed Property, Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, Maine Judicial System, Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and DSER’s payment processing contractor Informatix        
•    reviewing and assessing program performance; research and documenting staff reports of system and technology related bugs and deficiencies
•    developing, implementing, and monitoring program policies, rules, and regulations, developing recommendations to improve program performance
•    coordinating compliance and central operations with other resources and agencies; coordinating with OIT and DSER’s development and systems maintenance contractor to correct, test, and disseminate fixes, changes, and system upgrades to staff

Minimum Qualifications:

In order to qualify, you must have a six (6) year combination of training, education, and/or experience which would demonstrate knowledge of support enforcement and recovery activities to include at least two (2) years of experience in support enforcement and/or recovery.

Preference will be given to applicants with 2 or more years’ experience as a State of Maine Human Services Enforcement Agent.
