Position Overview:

Boeing is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our team in Albuquerque, NM developing new advanced concepts for the DoD. This position will be starting on the ground floor of a new program with requirements definition, setting up requirements management tools and processes, working with the multi-skilled team to complete an SRR/SFR. The position will support the entire life cycle of the program through design, procurement, integration, test, and validation. This position may serve as the SEIT IPT lead.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced systems and system solutions.

  • Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

  • Leads analyses to optimize total system and/or system architecture.

  • Leads analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

  • Leads, develops, maintains and identifies improvements the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Knowledge of tasking performed throughout engineering development lifecycle (requirements, design, software, test & integration)

  • 5+ years experience with requirements development, verification, validation, ICDs, risk, issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with DOORS and/or CAMEO

  • 3+ years of experience with CONOPS development

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150

Summary pay range (level 5): $147,050 - $198,950

Summary pay range (level 6): $174,250 - $235,750
