Job Summary
This position is a part of the Glanbia Nutritionals (GN) Plant Operations Finance team. This team is responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis for GN Operations which includes manufacturing plants across USA, Canada, Germany and China. By collaborating with various business partners, the team is responsible for centralizing the financial operational information and providing month end/periodic planning overhead review, analysis and reporting to the Function heads/ Senior executives. The team also provides ad-hoc financial analysis required by Senior executives and leadership to drive the strategic decisions and monitor KPIs in real-time.
Essential Functions
- Prepare periodic plans for GN manufacturing cost globally, including budget, forecast and long term strategic planning
- Prepare the periodic payroll planning for joint ventures
- Perform various financial modeling and analysis to support forecast, strategic decision-making, risk evaluation, and scenario planning.
- Prepare the Capex monthly report and periodic planning for depreciation
- Prepare freight reports and analysis including the weekly pricing update, monthly reports, related accruals and budgets/ forecasts
- Analysis of the month end accounts for GN manufacturing cost and related variance analysis
- Assist with preparation of the monthly COO Report and complete month end closing tasks within assigned deadlines.
- Responsible for monthly cost analysis for the Centers of Excellence, which include Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain and Technical Services.
- Collaborate with local GN Operations Finance teams and other function stakeholders to complete planning and month end review.
- Ad hoc analysis and project work as required by the Centers of Excellence or GN Operations Senior Leader Team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficiency and predictability.

Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years related experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Initiative and ability to work in team environment
- Driven, energetic results oriented individual with the ability to thrive under pressurized conditions
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Drives excellent performance without being close supervised.
- High degree of personal, commercial and professional credibility
