Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in Dowagiac, Michigan. As a caregiver, you will help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to improve their mental and emotional well-being.
- Medication Management: Assist with reminders and proper administration of prescribed medications.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Transportation: Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
- Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental health to appropriate parties.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
- Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and transferring.

Compensation: $10.35 - $13.55 per hour
