A Day in the Life

As a Quality Inspector II/III at our Billerica site, you will be essential in making sure our cutting edge cardiac ablation devices meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will meticulously examine components and assemblies, ensuring they meet precise specifications and function correctly.

Leveraging your expertise and the appropriate tools, you will assess whether products conform to our stringent quality criteria or require modifications. By adhering to established protocols and instructions, you'll contribute to operational efficiency and guarantee the safety and reliability of our products for patients. Your sharp attention to detail and unwavering dedication to quality will reinforce our commitment to excellence and patient safety.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30 pm.

Hourly Pay Rate:

  • Level II (requires 2+ years experience): $23/hour
  • Level III (requires 4+ years experience): $25/hour

What You'll Do:

  • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
  • Use various measuring devices and testing equipment, including microscopes, calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, and digital multimeters.
  • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Performs line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.

Minimum Requirements (Must Have):

  • Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
  • For Level III: Requires minimum of 4 years of experience
  • For Level II: Requires minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience using microscope in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of GDP and GMP
  • English reading ability: full working proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience using calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, digital multimeters.
