Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED strongly preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience in social services; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required. 

Essential Job Duties Include (But Not Limited To):

• Develop relationships with residents, to help support and direct residents to the proper resources at the moment.
• Develop relationships with staff to help support where needed.
• Be able to communicate updates effectively to shift teams during transition times.
• Cleaning and sanitizing Shower trailer/tent after each use and before shift ends. Shower trailer/tent must be cleaned and ready for the next day/shift.
• Use trauma informed care principles whenever possible when interacting with staff and residents.
• Keeping track of supplies for showers, such as shampoo, soap and cleaners.
• Utilizing proper PPE for cleaning.
• Knowledge of site policies and procedures
• Assigns shower times for residents on open availability, and keeps track of those who miss their showers.
• Teams up with reception and leads to make sure any issues with showers are being recorded.
• Assure residents are taking only one towel at a time so as not to run out of towels and have enough for everyone.
• Keeping track of the time frame that is allotted for each person. 

Work environment: · Close quarters with vulnerable people including individuals without stable living situations who may be struggling with mental health and substance use concerns. ·  Indoor/Outdoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands, and occasional unpredictable behavior.·  Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds or less.  · Must be able to go up and down stairs.
