About the role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate Account Director, Public Interest Technologies to join our growing, distributed team at Coforma.
The Account Director for Public Interest Technologies reports to the Account Director for Healthcare, who oversees the entire Account Director team. In this role, you will serve as the insights, innovation, and delivery champion for our Public Interest Technology focus area, supporting our partners at state, local, Tribal, and federal levels. You ensure that the teams’ work outputs—research and findings, design and strategy, and engineering—are optimized to achieve excellent outcomes for providers, patients and their families, and policy makers, consistently exceeding expectations.
You will build relationships and understanding within and across functions, partners, and projects to ensure that Coforma’s teams deliver products and services that meet our clients’ needs and support the needs and desires of the communities they serve. Delivery of excellent work is key, and this is a strategic and tactical role.

$170,980 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential

This is a U.S.-based remote position (open to applicants in the states listed below) and some travel will be required.

What You'll Do

  • Work with state, local, Tribal, and federal level Public Interest Technology (PIT) partners in a delivery role executing grants, contracts, and legislative actions
  • Develop thorough understanding of how our PIT partners spend their budgets, their forecasts, and trends as well as how to navigate their procurement processes
  • Develop blueprints of department organizational structures including stakeholders, Business Owners (BOs), Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Contracting Officers (COs)
  • Establish a strategic perspective and lead the development, implementation, and delivery of digital services solutions
  • Act as an advisor to clients, keeping abreast of technical and Public Interest Technology industry information
  • Manage contract compliance, reporting, policies, procedures, and operating practices
  • Oversee multiple projects with multiple subcontractors that have numerous stakeholders from a large number of sources that deliver digital services in a portfolio of accounts
  • Coordinate with delivery teams and other stakeholders to plan, organize, and direct all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide bid and proposal Support for PIT opportunities
  • Participate as a subject matter expert throughout the BD / Proposal process
  • Oversee the assembly and interrogation of briefs and briefing materials to support proposal development and submission to Task Orders, RFIs, and RFPs
  • Research and prepare certain proposal elements including customer centric briefs (hot-buttons, pain points, win themes, etc.) and RFP / RFQ / Market Research / Capability statements
  • Represent Coforma at external business networking opportunities, conferences and events
  • Attend customer onsite meetings, business reviews, and industry days as needed
  • Coordinate with appropriate resources to execute necessary legal and financial agreements such as NDAs and Teaming Agreements prior to RFP release
  • Identify key contract opportunities and maintain a 2-year strategic pipelineSecure contract modifications for our portfolio of projects
  • Articulate Coforma’s value proposition to partners and customers
