What you will be doing
This role is responsible for assessing and designing mission critical technological solutions including high performance computing, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data storage, analytics, networks, and endpoint IT solutions. Directors ensure technology solutions are aligned with business objectives, needs are prioritized appropriately across the enterprise, and collaboration exists with business areas in the development of short and long-term product roadmaps. They are focused on driving a positive user experience across the IT organization and to increase associate productivity. They assist in KPI development, budget allocation, and performance management of the team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership & guidance for translating business requirements into technology solutions like product roadmaps, business process designs, test scripts, and training assets, withing web-based platforms
• Directs a dynamic team of process and technical professionals assisting in issue resolution and solution delivery
• Establishes KPIs, goals, vision for the team in collaboration with business leads to assess performance of the technology solutions and rectify gaps accordingly
• Ensures timely delivery of high quality IT solutions by liaising between senior business stakeholders and solution development teams, and ensures that IT solutions meet the expectations of the stakeholders
• Mentors associates to develop an environment of teamwork and collaboration, focused on quality, user satisfaction, creativity, and cost effectiveness
• Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and enterprise priorities
• Demonstrates self-leadership and promotes building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business and IT priorities and process align
• Provides insight, guidance, and recommendations throughout the evolution of existing products by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of how current processes impact business operations across clients and internal businesses • Assists in the selection of vendors, contractors, and consultants, manages and builds strong relationships, manages the contract and renewal processes
• Reviews and monitors standard operating procedures (SOPs); develops and recommends improvements to promote efficiency in earnings, accuracy, improved service, and lower costs
• Facilitates implementation of high profile internal and external projects by carefully managing quality, timeline, and cost
• Supports business initiatives by applying deep expertise in subject area while promoting adherence to established procedures and policies
What your background should look like
Experience & Educational Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 10+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 5+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in client software solutions design or management of IT Operations.
Required experience with either or both areas:
- Expertise in 340B Program details, policies, procedures and technology
- Expertise in Federal and/or state Government contracts, regulations, and technology
Preferred Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- ITIL, ITSM Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
