The Role

The US ETF team is seeking an ETF Product Strategist located in Jersey to focus on the FMR ETF opportunity in Fidelity International’s (FIL) target markets in the EMEA and APAC regions. This person should have subject matter expertise with ETF solutions, business development, the competitive landscape and FMR investment capabilities. The strategist will act as an extension of our investment and product teams, acting as the client facing ETF solutions authority representing our solutions to distribution teams, with a focus on institutional and intermediary clients. The strategist will also work alongside FIL sales coverage to generate strong sales lift on existing and potentially new/custom ETF solutions. Lastly, the candidate will collaborate with FMR asset management to influence our product roadmap, develop messaging, and core content to support the continued growth of FMR’s ETF business.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA or CFA preferred
  • 10+ years of product experience with ETF expertise
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required
  • Maintains excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have in depth knowledge of Fidelity and or competitive products
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills are critical to success
  • Validated ability to successfully build and be a great partner within the intermediary and institutional channel
  • Ability to build internal partnerships and relationships in a team environment
  • Ability to influence decisions and direction across channels, and between FIL and FMR
  • Marketplace credibility to represent the investment process as well as the overall Fidelity organization most effectively in client, consultant, and industry conference speaking engagements
  • Willing to travel

The ETF Strategist will:

  • Would act as product expert for FMR ETFs
  • Would work to support/convert FMR content for FIL usage
  • Would partner and support the FIL sales efforts in selling FMR ETFs
  • Would collaborate with FIL on sales/distribution strategies for FMR ETFs into the region with a particular focus on the institutional and intermediary space

The Team

Fidelity’s U.S. ETF business consists of more than 75 ETFs with assets under management of over $150B, ranking Fidelity as a top 10 ETF Issuer in the U.S. Investors in Fidelity ETFs include retail, advisor, and institutional channels. The ETF product lineup provides Fidelity’s clients with indexed, factor/quant-based, and actively managed ETFs and represents equity, fixed income and alternative assets (including digital currencies). The Fidelity ETF Team is responsible for growing Fidelity’s ETF franchise across new product delivery and on-going management and enhancements to the existing product lineup. The ETF Team is also expanding our capabilities of distributing FMR ETFs internationally.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
