Your Key Responsibilities
- To ensure effective communications on shift and between relevant departments Liaising with departments on an hourly basis & SIC Meetings resolving issues impacting on production
- To ensure effective shift handovers take place between staff.
- To ensure the development, training and motivation of shift personnel, monitoring of all absenteeism/attendance to the agreed level and taking appropriate action as required. To also complete & feedback on appraisals as and when required & maintain company disciplinary/capability processes
- To ensure materials such as packaging, cases, labels and tape as well as anything associated with the production and packing of the company products are available to the lines prior to manufacture.
- To ensure safe, effective and efficient utilization of personnel, materials, plant, equipment and machinery whilst on shift.
- Deliver site improvement targets and actively support any site continuous improvement activities.
- Complete audits as and when required
- Maintain and improve GMP standards throughout the site
- Complete shift KPI’s in line with company procedure
- To contribute to recruitment processes and labour planning including effective liaison with site agencies to ensure line manning standards are maintained.
- To ensure that all health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times and to investigate actions in the correct way ensuring that all accident investigation action points are implemented and closed out rapidly.
- To ensure return to work interviews take place when staff return from holidays or sickness.
- To maintain traceability and product integrity.
