About the role

Assists Admissions Coordinator with the intake of referrals, obtaining patient information and physician orders, coordinating services with social worker and performing admissions of appropriate patients. Ensures that patient care records are accurate and complete and assists with the performance improvement program of Hospice. Requires minimal supervision.

  • Work Status Available: Full Time
  • Shifts Available: Day

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • upon hire: Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse. Or
  • upon hire: Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse Temporary. Or
  • upon hire: National Licensed Vocational Nurse Compact
  • upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Nursing experience.
  • Experience in working with terminally ill patients.
  • 1 year Experience in hospice.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
