MRI Technologist - Advanced Imaging (Full-Time, Days)

Compensation range:

$46.90 - $63.31

Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Shift: Days 9:30am - 6:00pm
Shift length: 8 Hours
Days off: Saturday & Sunday
Hours per pay period: 80 Hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the department leadership, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.  Performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.  The MRI Technologist will assume responsibility and accountability for a designated area.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

Desired:

• Two years' experience as an MRI Technologist

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

• Current license issued by ARRT
• Current CPR Certification

Desired:

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Acquired certification in specialized area from a recognized certificate agency if available
• ARRT Advanced Level MRI Certification

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of quality assurance, cross-sectional anatomy and specialized techniques as required for an MRI Technologist. Must be intelligent and self motivated. Must demonstrate abilities consistent with Planetree. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving techniques are required. Must have the ability to motivate, delegate and analyze information. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
