Director, Investor Relations

About your role:

As a Director, Investor Relations, you will be responsible for managing the company’s investor relationships, external investor communications, and quarterly earnings reporting process, with a strong emphasis on coordination across internal teams, especially Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting and the CEO/CFO offices.  You will report directly into the SVP, Investor Relations, and will help shape and execute an effective investor communications strategy, performing financial analysis, and maintaining strong relationships with investors and sell side analysts.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute the investor relations strategy, communications programs, and presentations to support the Fiserv organization.
  • Direct and execute the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback to the company of investors’ perceptions and opinions, and periodic ownership analysis.
  • Gather information on competitors’ earnings, presentations, valuation, and share ownership, as it relates to the company’s positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations Officer to support investors’ decision-making processes through participation in non-deal roadshows (visits to institutions), individual meetings, visits by analysts and investors to company headquarter.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of information disclosed externally by the company.
  • Manage the quarterly earnings reporting process, coordinating needs across FP&A, Accounting, technology support and the CEO/CFO offices, as well as external vendors
  • Represent the company on individual investor calls or meetings, and in discussions with the analyst community, as appropriate.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 7+ years of finance experience or related experience in corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, investor relations
  • 3+ years of experience presenting market trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends to the investor community
  • Experience with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as business, finance, accounting, economics or a relevant field or significant coursework in a quantitative area

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent graduate degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial systems, experience directly extracting information and constructing ad-hoc analyses data sourced from these systems
  • Experience in payments, financial services, or technology sectors
  • Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders with a client service focus, including timely follow-up and clear communication on requests and deliverables.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
