What You'll Do:

As a Senior member of our growing quality engineering team, you will collaborate with our Product, Design, and Engineering staff, as well as internal business stakeholders, to ensure we consistently and predictably deliver a high-quality, valuable, and robust product to our customers. You will accomplish this through these four categories:

1. Test Suite Automation

• Contribute to our automated suite of functional tests using the Cypress test framework.
• Apply your experience in test automation to make it easier for all our team members to contribute new automated tests, and reduce the total cost of automated test creation and execution.

2. Release Candidate Review and Approval

• We release to production frequently, across our web and native mobile products, at least weekly - you will be a key contributor in ensuring we can maintain that cadence.
• You will participate in overall system smoke and regression testing by defining and executing well-defined and thorough test plans for core product features.
• Be an advocate for our customers by preemptively discovering defects in our product suite, and identifying opportunities to improve system performance, behavior, and capabilities before our customers do.

3. New Feature Functional Testing

• Provide insight to the engineering and product team by identifying feature constraints and edge cases during design and implementation, to ensure quality is built in from the beginning.
• Extend automated and manual test plans and implementations to include coverage of new features and enhancements to existing feature.

4. Production Issue Triage

• Coordinate regularly with our customer success and support teams to validate, reproduce, and prioritize issues and feature requests as reported by our customers.
• Advise product and engineering teams as to severity of impact and behavioral options to mitigate or eliminate identified issues through new development.
• Use your experience to provide product direction insight to eliminate or mitigate recurring types of product issues.

Requirements

• Prior experience in building high performing technical QA solutions
• 5+ years of prior experience in web and mobile application quality engineering or similar environments.
