Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Infrastructure Architect to join our team!

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Database Infrastructure Architect with familiarity with Enterprise Architecture to help the Department of the Navy Chief Information Office document the Navy Enterprise Information Environment Mission Area (EIEMA) in alignment with the Navy Enterprise Architecture and Business Enterprise Architecture for the purpose of portfolio visibility, management and evolution. This position will be part of a high performing team of 3 – 4 people. Work with software tools/suites which can help build architecture models.

What You Will Do

• Document and link infrastructure software and hardware investments in detail to facilitate modernization/rationalization activities.
• Build architecture models to capture relationships and facilitate modernization/rationalization activities.
• Use infrastructure architecture data for comparative analytics.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. 10 years of that experience should be in Data infrastructure architecture
• Experience in documenting as a Service (aaS) offerings in a way that allows for comparison and measures of effectiveness
• Strong background in mapping the complex relationships between infrastructure software and hardware investments
• Knowledge of software tools/suites to build architecture models
• Bachelor of Science degree
• Hold a Secret level security clearance

Preferred Requirements

• Background in Enterprise Architecture
• Familiar with the ARIS/EKR software tools

Physical Requirements

• Work will be mostly remote, however have the ability to support meetings in person at the Pentagon
