About High Street House:

High Street House is a quaint assisted living community with 11 apartments located in a quiet residential setting, just blocks from downtown Lake City. High Street House has a cozy, family feel environment.

About This Role:

Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, you will prepare and serve nourishing and attractive meals and other food as required to support the menu and other facility events. Prepare meals according to a well-balanced nutritionally menu, using creative standardized recipes in a sanitary manner to ensure the best quality with a minimal amount of waste.

This position will provide backup coverage and pick up shifts as they become available.  Must work at least 2 shifts per month.

Requirements

• Experience in preparing food.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to effectively work with others throughout the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and dependable.
• Comply with the Residents Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
• Perform work tasks within the physical requirements.
• Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
