Responsible for the design, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive hospital and market integration strategies. Collaborates closely with stakeholders to execute the organization’s business development, growth, and population health strategies.

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive partnership and alignment strategy. Manages the full lifecycle of applicable transactions, e.g. negotiating terms, closing, and post-transaction relationship management.
  • In conjunction with leadership, works with regional hospital executives to optimize pediatric and neonatal care by assessing opportunities to create binding, long term affiliations.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with physicians and hospitals in target regions. Supports integration and connectivity within NCH providers in target regions.
  • Leads internal interdisciplinary committees aimed at growing strategic volume across service lines and the hospital.
  • Manages the development of growth strategies for targeted regional markets.   Develops and implements metrics and data tracking to assess business development and program effectiveness in key regional markets, ensuring continuous improvement and strategic alignment
  • Communicates semi-annual and annual outcome reports for key stakeholders and regional markets
  • Collaborates with other hospital departments to organize and plan business development objectives within budgeted guidelines.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, engineering, social work, or other clinical discipline, required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred; may be substituted for applicable years of experience.


Licensure Requirement:

Active driver’s license with proof of auto insurance required.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to organize and plan work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; sales database management skills are preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving and often ambiguous external environment.


Experience:

  • 5 years of proven experience managing strategic partnerships and developing and implementing provider-based business development initiatives, required.
  • Project Management (PM) experience, preferred.
