Starting Pay Range: $110,333.00/yr - $143,432.90/yr, depending on experience

• Position Status: Full-time, exempt
• Shift: Day
  • Please note: Regular weekly on-call (about 10 days per month).

Job Summary:

The Director ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostic services for patients of all ages. This role provides guidance to staff, upholds quality and safety standards, supports continuous improvement, and ensures full compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Working closely with providers and clinical teams, the Director helps ensure efficient, dependable test results that reflect Haxtun Health’s commitment to exceptional, community-focused care.

The Director of Laboratory will need to bring both strong leadership and a hands-on approach to supporting high-quality patient care. This is a working manager position that oversees daily lab operations while also performing clinical duties and participating in the on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and seven (7) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist or in their specialty, under ASCP, NCA or equivalent as defined under CLIA ’88 regulations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous management experience or participation in management training program is preferred.

• Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
• Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
