Job Overview

Shriners Children’s New England is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated, mission-driven team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, supporting surgical and outpatient pediatric orthopedic care for children and adolescents.

 

This position entails a 1.0 FTE commitment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call requirements. This is a salaried, exempt, full-benefits eligible position. The pay range for this position is $108,632.78-$162,939.29. Compensation is determined based on years of clinical experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate health assessments, physical exams, and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for pediatric orthopedic patients across clinic and surgical settings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe medications and treatments within licensure and Shriners Children’s protocols.
• Assist in specialty surgical procedures and perform routine clinical interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and care conferences to ensure coordinated, family-centered care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and home care.
• Document all care in the electronic health record and contribute to quality, safety, and improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor when assigned and maintain all licensure, certifications, and institutional standards.

If Physician Assistant:

• Master of Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent degree) from an accredited Physician Assistant program

If Nurse Practitioner:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or
