Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and administer the activities related to manufacturing operations. Ensure that manufacturing process adhere to negotiated budgets and schedule and are in compliance with applicable quality and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Manage the development and monitor execution of manufacturing schedules
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the operation
- Develop budgets and manage activities to accomplish financial objectives
- Develop and implement short- and long-range objectives, consistent with company strategic initiatives
- Participate in the preparation and/or review of proposals for new business based upon RFP/RFQ requirements
- Coordinate operations and communications within, between, and among various functional areas
- Ensure operations conform to the company’s policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations
- Establish, monitor, and ensure satisfactory customer and public relations, either through direct contact or delegation
- Engage in the typical responsibilities or a manager requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and controlling
- May also have supervisory responsibility involving staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Attend appropriate customer and business meetings
- Ensure key performance objectives are measured, monitored, and improved
- Actively participate on and lead group & corporate initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering or related discipline with a minimum 15 years of related experience
- Demonstrated performance implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven track record solving complex issues, driving risk assessments, root cause evaluations and red to green action planning
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
