Chief Scientist Officer

We are seeking a Chief Scientist Officer (CSO) with advanced expertise in blockchain technology. The CSO will report to the Company’s CEO and be responsible for guiding innovation, establishing industry thought leadership, and building deep technical partnerships. This individual will work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and practical implementation, ensuring that blockchain based products are seamlessly integrated into our company offerings and business processes.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in blockchain research and development, the ability to build deep and meaningful relationships with other technical leaders, as well as a natural leadership skills in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building Tatum’s market presence and industry reputation for thought leadership.
• Build meaningful partnerships with complementary technology and blockchain companies.
• Guide research and development related to blockchain technology, web3 & crypto.
• Drive the strategic vision for innovation, identifying future trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments to enroll various teams into a common vision of technical innovation and priorities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in blockchain technology, Web3, crypto and decentralized systems.
• Proven track record of driving blockchain innovation.
• Analytical mind with experience building growth strategy based on market needs.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments and translating scientific research into business applications.
