 Department Overview:
Information Technology is a unified organization comprised of various departments which collaborate effectively to deliver high quality technology solutions.  Enterprise Protection, Data and Analytics is part of the IT Organization, and this position resides within Enterprise Protection supporting the Corporate Security Department (CSD) where multiple systems and technologies exist to detect, delay, defend, deter, and deny adversaries in the protection of our people, assets, and facilities.  These systems include access control, visitor management, surveillance systems, alarm response, and field technologies which work together to support the protection mission.

Position Summary

This role works in partnership with stakeholders to execute physical security projects, deploying technology standards and design patterns.  The IT Project Manager acts as a thought leader, execution leader, collaborator, and information source to support team members and projects with an emphasis on ensuring that physical security products and solution meet Corporate Security and Functional Area needs (i.e., Gas, Electric, PowerGen, others).   Technology projects most often include a field component, such as access controls and video, which are deployed across PG&E’s vast service area.  The selected candidate should be able to function effectively in a process-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader.  Must be able to travel to field at least 1 day per week.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
