POSITION TITLE

Milliken Services – Turkey Project Manager

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Milliken Services is a full service internal department that aligns with the Sales Organization to provide full turnkey services to Milliken’s national accounts and contract business.  Turnkey services include but is not limited to provided flooring materials and installation.  The Milliken Services Project Manager is the direct point of contact between the client, sales and manufacturing, and will work with customers, installation partners, sales reps, customer service, and shipping to manage turnkey projects through installation. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Builds project proposals, pricing, and customer quotations
• Proactive in providing process improvements for national account and contract project management programs
• Identifies Installation Partners to provide installation services for projects through subcontract negotiations on a national basis.
• Identifies Scope of work for projects and understands customer expectations
• Manages order placement for turnkey projects
• Finds Solutions and Troubleshoots project issues
• Works with Customer Service to process carpet orders
• Have a working knowledge of national pricing grids, Union and non-Union labor markets
• Reconcile and process installer payments
• Tracks, reports, and reconciles projects
• Attends conference calls with customers, installers, GC’s, Architects, etc.            
• Tracks and expedites carpet shipments
• Negotiates with customers
• Able to cross train and support others in the department as needed
• Understands and is able to work with state, local and national contracts

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

• A history of success in customer service, sales, construction project management, or similar field
• Capable of working in several platforms of
