Location: Atlanta HDQ or Chicago, IL
MISSION:
This position will develop and execute the sales strategy for selling GPI Paper Canister Solutions and services within a designated geography. Requirements include new business development, maintaining customer relationships, providing customer specific solutions, and meeting established sales targets. This position will be focused on selling our unique packaging systems to large, strategic accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in Strategy Development by contributing strong understanding of addressable categories, channels, and customers.
- Identify and qualify a pipeline of leads/prospects consistent with the go to market strategy.
- Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers.
- Execute a value based selling approach:
- Demonstrate ROI and revenue growth from GPI Paper Canister Solutions
- Develop a pull for GPI Systems packaging from Retailers.
- Utilize a contract manufacturer network to drive growth.
- Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events.
- Negotiate large/complex contracts.
- Provide monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 5 - 10+ years in business/new product development experience in B2B or B2C
- Education: MBA (desirable), degree in engineering, sales, or marketing
- Ability to travel 40% of the time.

- Proven track record of selling multimillion dollar systems/equipment or similar.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills
- Experience with negotiations, strong influencing, and persuasion skills
- Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint and CRM systems.
- Results oriented.
Salary Min: $102,270.00
Salary Mid: $136,395.00
Salary Max: $170,520.00
