About the role

As an Executive Director and Head of General Management for Zelle within Chase, you will be responsible for overseeing the largest P2P network in the U.S. Your role will involve comprehensive management of Zelle, working closely with the product team, various internal departments, and external network partners to achieve Chase's business objectives. Zelle is the largest P2P network in the U.S. – serving millions of Chase customers every day and playing a critical role in helping them manage their financial lives. The successful candidate will join a high visibility and performing team and will be responsible for the general management of Zelle. The candidate will partner across the Zelle product team, multiple internal functions, and external network partners to deliver again Chase’s business goals/objectives.  The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, excellent relationship builder, flexible in a fast-paced environment, strategic problem solver, and empathetic team leader.

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Interface directly with Early Warning Services (EWS) to advocate for Chase’s objectives, drive network-wide strategy, and manage vendor engagement for Zelle
•    Partner with operations, risk and product teams to drive holistic Zelle claims and customer support strategy
•    Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute Chase’s customer facing marketing strategy for Zelle
•    Maintain robust controls for Zelle across controls reporting, internal audit, regulatory inquiries, and new product enhancements
•    Refine and communicate Chase’s Zelle strategy to senior leadership, external regulators, press, and policymakers
•    Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence to partners to remove blockers for the team while establishing a culture of collaboration, execution, and inclusiveness
•    Analyze internal data, monitor market trends, and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement or product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
•    10+ years of relevant general management, strategy, consulting, or product management experience with 3+ years of people management experience
•    8+ years industry experience in payments, banking, or financial services
•    Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
•    Team player with great interpersonal and leadership skills 
•    Strong written/verbal communication skills and executive presentation skills
•    Calm under high pressure and tight delivery timelines
•    Bachelor’s degree required;
