TITLE:                  Retail Supervisor

LOCATION:        Wings

STATUS:              Year-Round, Full-Time, Hourly

SCHEDULE:         Varies

  • Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

SUMMARY

As a Retail Supervisor, you will work under the direction of the Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of Wings and Pipeline. This role supports product merchandising, inventory management, employee training, and staff supervision while helping achieve financial goals and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Supervise the daily operations of Wings and Pipeline.
  • Ensure the store consistently delivers outstanding guest service.
  • Assist the manager with inventory management, product merchandising, and visual presentation standards.
  • Assist with purchasing, receiving, inventory transfers, and purchase order creation.
  • Support employee management, coaching, scheduling, and performance expectations.
  • Train and develop store employees in guest service standards, sales techniques, and inventory-related procedures.
  • Monitor store appearance, organization, and product availability to maintain a positive shopping experience.
  • Lead by example and uphold Snowbird standards in all aspects of the operation.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to and from resort locations.
  • Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and fellow employees in a friendly, professional manner and maintain positive working relationships with all Snowbird departments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Associate degree in a related field preferred. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
  • 1–2 years of retail or job-specific experience with demonstrated leadership and customer service skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and computer applications. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, WinRetail, Square, Yellow Dog, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software.
  • Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills, including the ability to review inventory reports and investigate accounting discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Exercise sound judgment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 WORK SCHEDULE

  • Shifts vary and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business demands and seasonal needs.
  • As a supervisor, you must be available to work snow nights, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, during road closures or severe weather events.
  • May experience periods of high stress due to business volumes, deadlines, guest interactions, winter weather conditions, snow night requirements, and commuting to and from Snowbird.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, grasp, handle merchandise, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Work is performed in a retail and office environment with frequent interruptions and moderate noise levels
