As a Senior Associate on the CIB Stress Testing team, you will support its mission in providing best in class financial projections which support the Firm’s strategic decision making.
Job responsibilities:
- Become an operational expert and support the delivery of stress testing results
- Work on the quarterly creation and aggregation of materials
- Focus on process improvement and automation
- Lead automation of many of CIB Stress Testing’s manual processes to promote growth at scale
- Support model / qualitative model enhancement and development
- Enhance reporting tools to reduce excel-based and manual work
- Operate under tight timelines to comply with internal and regulatory-prescribed deadlines
- Manage interactions with partner teams which have competing or dual priorities
- Work closely with a global team operating on multiple continents
- Grow into a technical job area to become a subject matter expert
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- 5+ years supporting a large financial services organization
- Familiarity and experience with Capital Stress Testing
- Coding experience, preferably in Python
- Comfortable working autonomously in an unstructured environment
- Familiarity with automated solutions, such as Alteryx, or desire to learn
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to changes in plan
- Ability to multi-task and navigate different projects and prioritize issues
- Knowledge or experience or familiarity to risk management
- Good organizational skills & planning ability
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to be able to work closely across different stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Previous experience analyzing FTP/NII/Balance Sheet
- Knowledge of Commercial Investment Bank (CIB) products
