The Operations Manager will oversee production and warehouse operations, planning and executing activities to enhance the quality of processes, materials, and company products. This role will collaborate closely with various departments to drive initiatives that support business unit goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, along with self-motivation to be highly influential. Additionally, the Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing team dynamics and ensuring operational efficiency, balancing a big-picture perspective with a hands-on approach as needed.

As our Operations Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

• Being responsible for the operations and Warehouse functions, including backlog, scheduling, and capacity management
• Being a key player in KPI monitoring and controls.
• Analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of supervisors, technicians and assembly workers.
• Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to optimize efficiency and reduce waste; managing manufacturing waste
• Preparing and presenting detailed reports and presentations to higher management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
• Meeting Mercury and Customer requirements, standards and codes of practice.
• Ensuring compliance with all business regulations and ISO 9001 requirement.
• Participating in risk assessments, inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Investigating and acting on delivery quality issues.
• Optimizing machine production output.
• Ensuring production efficiency / cost minimization / management of operating costs / employee labor efficiencies.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment are up to date on preventive maint
