Job Description
The Operations Associate handles assigned daily, weekly, or monthly tasks related to ACH Processing. Incumbent must comply with Bank’s policy, procedures, and Federal regulations for handling exception and dispute items. Hours are 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process electronic payment disputes for bank customers within stated SLA and Regulatory time frames.
• Meet strict daily deadlines for review and/or approval of suspended ACH Origination batches.
• Review over limit activity for ACH Origination clients and prepare documentation for management approval in a timely manner.
• Research ACH items, missing payments, and other discrepancies when requested by internal staff.
• Communicate with other financial intuitions for both outgoing and receiving request of various nature.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and concisely with upper management.
• Ability and willingness to learn NACHA rules.
• Cross-training of other duties within the department as assigned.
• Research and clearing of Deposit Corrections.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Access)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
