FMS Country Project Coordinator - (Iraq)

Description

QBE is seeking a PEO EIS AIT CENTCOM project coordinator for a position based in Baghdad, Iraq. The successful candidate will provide program management oversight in the area of C5ISR projects. The AIT CENTCOM Project Coordinator supports project & program managers by organizing and communicating the day-to-day operations of the projects. The project coordinator will oversee administrative tasks, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure resource availability for the project team. There will be OCONUS and CONUS travel dependent on the needs of the project. The coordinator must have strong organization skills with strong attention to detail as they are usually the last person to have eyes on a deliverable. The projects can range from single to complex plans. Ultimately, the project coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

The successful candidate will relocate to Iraq in May, 2025.

The duties of Program Manager typically include tasks such as:

• Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information.
• Meeting planning and logistics.
• Liaising with external stakeholders, Contracting Office, Govt customers, Internal PMO team to identify, define, and status project requirements/scope/objectives.
• Ensure Govt customer needs are met as the project evolves.
• Review and Q/A CDRLs provided by system integrators.
• Work closely with PMs to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.
• Coordinate various tasks (like schedule and risk management plans) along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling status queries.
• Oversee project procurement and contract action activities.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Work with PMs to eliminate blockers.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with multi-national programs.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience in project management, from conception to acquisition to delivery .
• Ability to prepare and interpret workflows, schedules, and action plans.
• Solid organization skills, including multitasking.
• Strong customer/client – facing and teamwork skills.
• 6 Years of related experience to project management.
• BA/BS Degree - Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Must have active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Possess a valid and current US passport.
• Ability to TDY up to 25%
• MS Project / 365, Powerpoint, Jira, ServiceNow, and other PM tool experience.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time. 
• Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds. 
• Ability to commute to the designated onsite work locations as required. 
• Ability to pass CRC requirements
• Comfortable moving to and living in an Austere location

Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, PMP, CIA, CHP, CISA, APICS, ICAR, ASC, CSM, CSCS. 

Preferred attributes:

• FMS / Security Cooperation experience
• Experience with DoD Acquisitions
• PMP Cert or DAWIA Cert
