Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer based in Sacramento, California. This role will primarily focus on supporting a wide range of water projects, with a particular emphasis on dams and levees.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and provide technical expertise for medium to large-scale projects.
• Take a leadership role in fostering technical client relationships and actively contribute to business development efforts.
• Lead the growth of technical expertise within the discipline department.
• Engage in technical business development activities.
• Offer specialized technical input for studies and designs related to your specific area of expertise.
• Approve and oversee project work.
• Be recognized as a leader in one or more areas of technology.
• Provide engineering budget estimates and schedules for large, complex projects to ensure project requirements are met.

Requirements

Requirements

• Possess 5-10 years of experience in water resources.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical background or training, which is essential.
• Demonstrate expertise in geotechnical civil design for Water/Wastewater projects, as well as levees and dams projects.
• Have an active California Professional Engineer (PE) License or the ability to obtain one within six months.
