EquipmentShare is searching for a Human Resources Generalist for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow. This position can sit remote in the United States.

Role Description 

As an HR generalist on the People First team, you will be responsible for back-end administrative processes, in support of our mission. This role supports the employee experience by providing friction free administrative support during all parts of an employees career journey. Our amazing team is growing and this role will not only support the current daily tasks, but also help create what the future of our HR Shared Services model looks like at EquipmentShare.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generalist Process Expert. In this role you will need to be proficient across all areas of human resources shared services. This includes but is not limited to: preparing paperwork for the new hire experience, benefits administration, payroll administration, offboarding, talent management, and performance management.  
  • HRIS Data Entry. You will receive and process employee data across all parts of the employee lifecycle. You will need to keep meticulous records, have strong attention to detail, and create audit mechanisms in order to ensure a defect free experience for our people.
  • Collaboration and Partnership. A successful HR generalist is able to partner across the organization to ensure individuals are working together effectively, holding each other accountable, and continuously improving our processes in support of the customer. In this role you will be responsible for discrete processes, and will get results by collecting feedback in support of continuous improvement of said processes.

  • A structured problem solver and planner, with proven time management, and ability to navigate shifting priorities 
  • An innovative thinker who looks around corner, is able to complete administrative tasks while exploring ways to drive efficiency through process improvement 
  • A team player who is willing to step into ambiguous situations in order to support peers as needed. Strong communication is important in this role, as you will need to communicate across both internal and external customer groups 
  • An HR professional who understands the importance of maintaining data integrity and keeping employee information confidential
