We are looking for you to join our Sentinel Mission Defense Team as a Chief Engineer - Cyber Systems Engineering based out of Roy, UT. As a Chief Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Using industry Systems Engineering best practices, Model-based Engineering, and Agile practices we continue to evolve how we deliver critical national defense products and capabilities for the warfighter. Our success is grounded in our ability to embrace change, move quickly and continuously drive innovation. The successful candidate will be influential, collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on enabling top tier Cyber Systems Engineering execution across multiple life-cycle phases of the Sentinel program. 

What You'll Get To Do:

In this role, you will demonstrate a broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities, with the ability to technically lead in a team environment and collaborate across the organization and multiple core stakeholders as required to accomplish team goals. Strong executive presence, ability to effectively influence internal and external customers, and significant gravitas are foundational to success in this role.  You will provide Cyber Systems Engineering direction to our team and be accountable for the planning and execution of Cybersecurity Systems Engineering efforts for complex software and hardware airborne vehicle and ground systems. Work location will be on-site at the Roy, Utah facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Cybersecurity Program Management team in executing the Statement of Work and Engineering scope aligned with cost and schedule constraints, including technical decision-making to ensure timely, high quality product deliveries and flight test events geared to meet mission requirements
  • Ensure the Cybersecurity team execution remains aligned with the Statement of Work, eliminating scope creep, and actively leading a disciplined Change Management process for technical content 
  • As the Technical Authority, lead the team in development rigorous development and maintenance of Engineering Risks and Opportunities and disciplined execution of risk mitigation and opportunity realization actions 
  • Partner and collaborate with the program Office of Chief Engineers to accomplish
