Snowflake’s App and Collaboration team builds platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps to enable data analysis and AI/Ml modeling, with access to powerful data and AI/ML API resources on Snowflake. 

 

AS A PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM TEAM YOU WILL:

• Lead highly impactful initiatives for platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps for Data Analysis and AI/ML modeling lifecycle workflows.
• Innovate and build highly secured and reliable software to allow customers to be AI and data-driven.
• Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.
• Revolutionize how organizations leverage data and AI as a strategic business asset.
• Ensure operational readiness of the platform and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.

OUR IDEAL PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM, WILL HAVE:

• 15+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong fundamental computer science skills.
• Fluency in Java or Python or C++.
• Knowledge of AI Lifecycle and database internals is a big plus.
• Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
• Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
