Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2

Role Overview

 

Sodexo is seeking our Environmental Services-Custodial Manager 2 for our client partners at the University of New Mexico in Las Cruces. Our successful bilingual candidate will inspect work daily to meet Annual Audit expectations, work closely with Events team to staff events like sports and concerts Interview, Hire, Lead and mentor our team, conduct safety meetings for our team and manage annual reviews and provide constructive counseling for course correction.

What You'll Do

• Assign work orders
• Participate in monthly budget meetings and meetings with the clients 
• Order supplies, manage inventory, process expenses through Concur software
• Work occasional nights and weekends, schedule Custodians and scale for events

What You Bring

• Ability to work mostly days with occasional Nights, Weekends and On-call for Events
• Excellent ability to schedule and work special assignments for evening and weekend events
• Self-starter work ethic, coming to the business with solutions, taking initiative to manage the sanitation smoothly
• Experience managing EVS with a safety focus, conduct training and inspect work to assure each task is being performed safely in real time
