Valmet, a pioneer in sustainable technologies, is now looking for a Senior Manager, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for our Pulp & Energy Business Line. Join us in our quest to innovate and lead the industry while nurturing a greener world.

As an IPR Leader, you will:

• Develop and lead and Pulp & Energy’s comprehensive IPR activities, and report to VP Strategy and R&D.
• Lead a team of IPR professionals in our mission to protect and foster innovation on our continued way forward, towards excellence.
• Manage a strong patent portfolio that supports our commitment to eco-friendly solutions and ensuring that it’s robust and cost-efficient.
• Advocate for the IPR function within technology management team and Valmet’s forums.

To be successful in this position we believe you to have:

• A degree in technology, engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
• Experience in IPR and/or pulp, paper, energy, or biorefining technologies, with an eagerness to expand your knowledge through continuous learning.
• A collaborative teamwork focus and excellent communication skills in English.
• A proactive and systematic approach to work, with the capacity to operate autonomously and juggle multiple deadlines.
• The courage to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.
