Food Runner – Catch 31 @ Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

📣 As a Food Runner, you will play a vital support role in our restaurant operations, ensuring guests receive timely and accurate food service. You will work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain the flow of service and uphold the highest hospitality standards.

Position Type:

Part-Time or Seasonal – Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Ensure all food is presented properly and meets quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
• Assist servers with table maintenance and guest requests as needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a food runner, server assistant, or kitchen expeditor is preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering accurate, timely service
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift trays, and work near heat
• Flexible availability – must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
