The salary range for this role, based in Florida is $157,040.00 to $196,300.00, range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

At Pernod Ricard USA, we have accelerated and transformed our organization around experiences of conviviality, placing the consumer at the heart of our business model.  The Division Business Director plays an important role in our mission to drive the success of our complete portfolio across our entire customer base.

In summary, the Division Business Director supports the architecture, development, and communication of the broader division strategy for its assigned regions and markets.  Operating as a “right hand” to the Division Vice President, this role ensures the centralization and consistency of practices, plans, and internal and external communication across the division.  The successful candidate is highly influential, collaborative and coordinated with various key stakeholders within the division and across Finance, Field Marketing, Transformation, Commercial Operations and Planning, Chains, and Brand Marketing.  The Division Business Director is a steward of the overall division’s culture, ensuring the prioritization of objectives that will enable us to grow the entire PRUSA portfolio and beat the market.

This position reports directly to the Division Vice President.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Support Division VP in developing the annual operating plan and broader regional strategy, as well as the key division-wide day-to-day operations:
    • Integrate the broader HQ / centralized strategy into a cohesive divisional strategy and plan.
    • In coordination with the division’s key stakeholders (i.e. VP of Sales, Field Marketing, and Finance), ensure a consistent approach to the division AOP planning process and P&L management.
    • Ensure data-driven business planning and decision making across the division through the utilization of data dashboards and consistent communication.
    • Represent assigned markets’ insights and dynamics, to be incorporated into the broader brand and portfolio plans at pivotal points in the planning process.  Use voice to inform choices, drive consistency, and ensure that all important data and information are incorporated at the right time (e.g., insights, financials, syndicated data, etc.).
    • Drive forecasting accuracy in coordination with key partners (e.g., Commercial Planning and Operations, S&OP, Finance, and Area Leads / State Managers).
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for Commercial Planning and Operations, Chains, Portfolio Strategy, and Field Marketing leadership as needed.
    • Collaborate closely with other Division Business Director counterparts across PR USA to leverage best practices and key learnings.  Where relevant, ensure these are deployed within own division.
  • Manage division’s strategic communication:
    • Develop division-wide communications and Calls to Action, as well as highly visibly presentations for executive-level leadership review (e.g. Roadshow decks).
    • Using inputs from multiple sources and functions, synthesize cohesive messaging for AO meetings, internal division meetings, external distributor meetings, and PR USA senior management meetings.  Take lead role in organizing division-wide and external meetings where this is the ideal mode of communication.
    • Collaborate with Commercial Planning and Operations leadership to drive divisional priorities and performance management, in a consistent manner across the Division.
