Job Summary:

The Sr. QC Inspector is responsible for production line or incoming material quality to ensure products manufactured by Supermicro, or incoming material from contract manufacturer shall meet product quality requirements with customer’s satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Support team members (IPQC, IQC) to reach internal target and goal
• Monitor, review and control of manufacturing process
• Collect necessary process yield on product, both of NPI and of production during their respective  transformation
• Compile data to generate DFM feedback report to our design team and assist product design  improvement.
• Assist root cause and failure analysis to generate quality improvement initiatives on their CM process
• Working with purchasing and related departments to solve the materials quality issues or support part qualification confirmation through the CM process
• Provide feedback and drive supplier management and improvement
• Coordinate with production team to improve incoming yield
• Collaborate with engineering for component quality control or special testing, inspection or experiments
   

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ year quality control and inspection experience in electronic or computer company
• Understand or knowledgeable of quality control or QC inspection
• Proactive, flexible, good communication skills, highly acceptable to change, and ability to work independently
• Understanding of electronic or computer component
