The Division of Business and Finance (DBF) is seeking a driven, detail‑oriented professional to play a key role in our Division. As a Budget Analyst Senior, you’ll take ownership of critical financial functions that keep our agency running smoothly and strategically.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the agency’s cost allocation plan
• Build and refine labor forecasts to support long‑term planning
• Manage and enhance administrative charging procedures
• Create clear, insightful financial reports using advanced Excel functions and pivot tables
• Leverage your SQL experience to analyze and organize complex data
• Apply your background in governmental budgeting, public finance, or related fields to guide decision‑making

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare monthly labor forecast for all agency divisions based on cost allocation reports and analysis. Prepare annual forecasts to be used in the development of the annual agency budget submission and spending plans. Set-up and maintain all employee funding codes and time tracking in ETE and AZ360. Develop and maintain agency cost allocation plan and related policies and procedures. This includes the annual cost allocation plan and quarterly amendments as necessary.
