What you'll do

• Provide strategic guidance and governance for Salesforce development across the organization, while defining and enforcing best practices, coding standards, and developing guidelines 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions as well as leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce applications, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and third-party system integrations
• Oversee and manage the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely project delivery, adherence to quality standards as well as compliance with security, data privacy, and governance requirements
• Conduct code reviews, mentor and coach Junior Developers (m/f/d), foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement of Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional development teams (internal and external) to align Salesforce development with broader IT and business strategies, and participate in interviews for developers to be placed by external vendors

Who you are

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with extensive experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
• Demonstrated expertise in leading development teams, providing technical guidance in senior or lead roles, and a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security best practices
• Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or other integration tools, along with experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud (preferred)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) with Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II) 
  
• Excellent communication in English, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as the ability to balance technical and business priorities effectively
