Schedule: M-F (3 days in office)

Ornua is actively seeking an FP&A & Commercial Finance Director to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in driving profitable growth by providing strategic financial leadership, forward‑looking insights, and commercial decision support across the Foods Americas business.

As our FP&A & Commercial Finance Director, you will take ownership of financial planning, performance management, and commercial finance activities for Ornua Foods Americas. You will directly influence strategic decision‑making, pricing and portfolio optimization, and long‑range growth planning.

 

Your contributions will help ensure disciplined execution of our strategy, strengthen cross‑functional alignment, and enable Ornua to continue delivering strong, sustainable results while supporting the cooperative mission behind our iconic brands.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Category Finance, or related roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing pricing, portfolio, and investment decisions
  • Experience supporting innovation, new product launches, or channel expansion strategies
  • Proven people management experience leading and developing high‑performing teams
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders

 

Desired Qualifications

 

  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Experience within CPG, food & beverage, or multi‑channel consumer businesses
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed, or cooperative organization

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to the Foods Americas Leadership Team, providing forward‑looking insights and decision support.
  • Translate strategy into financial plans, scenarios, and performance metrics to support both short‑ and long‑term growth objectives.
  • Lead financial evaluation of strategic initiatives, including new categories, channels, customers, and product launches.

 

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Own the annual Budget, quarterly Forecasts, and 5‑Year Strategic Plan for the Foods Americas business.
  • Oversee delivery of all FP&A outputs, including P&L and KPI forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Lead consolidation of the Foods Americas P&L and provide clear variance analysis to senior leadership.
