About the role

<p>STR is seeking a <strong>Lead All-source Analyst</strong> and<strong>&nbsp;Modeling Engineer&nbsp;</strong>who has a passion for research and development of models of cyber physical systems. Work must be performed onsite.</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop tools to help sift through large datasets to identify information relevant for modeling efforts.</li> <li>Create system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal processing algorithms, etc.</li> <li>Work in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems from a wide variety of technologies to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions</li> <li>Document, demonstrate, and present research</li> <li>Solve real world problems that have an impact on national security</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>This position requires an <strong>Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance</strong>, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government</li> <li>Active CI poly or willingness to obtain one</li> <li>BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience</li> <li>Proficiency with modeling tools: SPICE, MATLAB,</li> <li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Python, etc.</li> <li>General understanding of electrical engineering: Circuit and flow diagrams, signal processing chains, network traffic data</li> <li>Willing to travel frequently from an STR office to the customer location in MD, or spend the majority of time at customer location</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced foreign language skills</li> <li>Experience with digital twin development</li> <li>Expertise in modeling signal processing algorithms, filter design, etc.</li> <li>Embedded systems or firmware analysis experience</li> <li>Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques</li> <li>Analyzing protocols or message structures</li> <li>Knowledge of binary file structures and formats</li> <li>Developing automated reverse engineering or software analysis tools</li> <li>Developing disassembler/decompiler modules</li> <li>Debugging software without source code</li> <li>Analyzing and reconstructing code/data flow</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay Information</strong><br>Full-Time Salary Range: $157,000 - $224,000</p> <p><em>The salary range listed is based on external market data.
