General Description and Classification Standards
Provides administrative and technical support to the manager of an assigned department. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and implementing real property and facilities inventory systems; administering and coordinating contracts related to the use of airport property, the preparation of specifications for contract negotiation and bidding of service contracts; and processing associated paperwork.
Supervision Received
Works under very general supervision. Depending on organization structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assists in the preparation of lease agreements, amendments, contracts and legislative documents regarding airport property and related matters, including typing, reviewing, photocopying and distributing to appropriate personnel and/or departments.
Reviews tenant compliance with contract terms and recommends procedures to be taken to ensure adherence with contract stipulations, all applicable laws, codes and regulations.
Types various correspondence, legislative documents and legal contracts utilizing computer equipment including reviewing, and correcting incorrectly entered data.
Processes various contracts for approval and execution including service contracts, janitorial, landscaping and security; and forwards documents to appropriate personnel for review and approval.
Provides administrative support in the development and implementation of a comprehensive real property and facilities inventory system.
Maintains files on airport property contracts, lease agreements and amendments, including Federal Aviation Administration lease agreements and related documentation.

Uses independent judgment and discretion and makes recommendations based on findings.
Leadership Provided
Routinely provides work group leadership, guidance, and/or training to less experienced staff.

Ability to read, understand and interpret financial reports and related materials and assemble information and make written reports and documents in a concise, clear and effective manner.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a related field. 1-2 years' of progressively responsible business and/or real estate or commercial property management experience is required; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or a related field and 3-4 years' of progressively responsible business and/or real estate or commercial property management experience is preferred.
Licensures and Certifications
None required.
