About the Role
We’re looking for a Regional Marketing Director who combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership across Offer, Communication, Digital, and Trade Marketing. You’re an innovative B2B2C marketer who knows how to turn insights into impactful actions and foster collaboration across diverse teams and markets. Based in Warsaw, you’ll shape Somfy’s marketing direction across Eastern Europe — strengthening our brand, inspiring our teams, and partnering closely with international colleagues to deliver meaningful growth.
Mission
Lead and empower the Eastern Europe Marketing Community to deliver measurable results across trade, product marketing, pricing, and communication, supported by clear frameworks, resources, and strategic direction. Develop and implement an integrated regional marketing and communication strategy that strengthens Somfy’s brand visibility, customer connection, and market growth. Act as a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric thinking, translating business ambitions into impactful marketing actions that reinforce Somfy’s leadership across Eastern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional marketing team of experts both functionally and hierarchically, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
- Build marketing capability within the region, ensuring teams are agile, customer-focused, and continuously learning.
- Actively contribute as a member of the Regional Management Board to overall business strategy and performance.
- Capture, analyze and translate business needs into action plans, on both short-mid-and long term within all channels.
- Create innovative marketing initiatives which make an impact. Develop and implement regional marketing plans aimed at promoting products and services.
- Work closely with sales teams to design and execute effective marketing campaigns in line with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage the pricing strategy across the region for all brands in scope.
- Ensure strong market and customer understanding by analyzing needs, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Monitor industry developments and digital technologies to maintain a market-leading position.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, ensuring adherence to corporate brand guidelines.
- Monitor, analyze, and report the performance of marketing campaigns and digital platforms using key metrics to inform future strategy adjustments.
- Oversee the regional marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective planning and ROI-driven execution.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness and digital platform performance, using key metrics to adjust strategies.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, B2B customers, dealers, and partners to expand our market reach.
- Collaborate effectively with the group marketing team on structural projects including web, communication, digital, and branding initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in managing a regional marketing function within a B2B or B2BB2C product and/or service company, including proven team management experience.
- Strategic Partnering: Strong business partnering skills and the ability to translate business needs into actionable and impactful marketing plans.
- Campaign Expertise: Proven track record in designing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive business growth.
- Digital Savvy: Deep understanding of digital marketing platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience inspiring and leading remote or cross-country teams.
